Prepare Data for Exploration
Preparing data is one of data analysis processes right after an analyst conducting communication for understanding the problem. This data preparation covers areas: how data is generated, data collection process, differentiating structured and unstructured data, types of data and the relationship between them, managing data formats, data bias, and data security.
There are many factors to consider in data collection process. For selecting the right data for analysis, we need to understand how the data will be collected, source of data, business problem solving, volume of data to collect, and time frame of data to extract.
