Learning to Learn by Barbara Oakley — Part 2

Talking about working memory, we can describe metaphorically the way of our brain working is like an octopus who hold a memory on each its tentacle. That is way we can not hold so many ideas on our brain at the same time or otherwise we can get confused. In addition that what happens when we do multitasking. We will be little bit stupider. So, the focus attention is important, especially when we are working in difficult problem.

Next journey of our learning process is transferring our short term memory to become a long term memory. The best way is to practice. The more we practice, the broader of the neuro path way and deeply embedded it becomes. The more we practice, the more deeper the path becomes. What happens if we do not practice not so often? There would be metabolic “vampire” suck the pattern before it deepen.

I might to change to question answer format in following part.

Question: What happens with people with poor thinking? they/we can not remember what might be easy for somebody else.

Answer: They can not memorize something new since the slot in the brain has been filled with another material, based on a research…
